"R.S.V.P."

New dawn greets me with a new depression:
A crooked smile and an endless supply
Of uninformed opinions.
(I check my dreams at the door.)

So entwined with locust love,
I crash land and drop the unwavering sun.
My church bell’s cracked; I’m likely drunk,
Amnesia seized and hypothermic.

Thus I faint and thus I wake:
Lulled by life or roused by life--
Welcomed further within derisory days
Where dull beasts croon their hollow charm: “Drink up!”

Now climbing pensively backwards down
A lucid ladder of nervous bones,
I count stale breaths between stale steps
And the choices I make which time forgets--

Mystifying plains of old skin razed
’Neath lurid sky, lightened, and opened wide.
Peered in and saw the true outside;
Today I have unwrapped the mind.

Hello. I'm kind of new to this community, but it is really nice to meet you all!

I'm pretty much new here. I'm a 15 year old inspiring writer, looking for a little help and support along the way. I'm still not the best writer.. but with help and some crit, I know I'll get better!
