Freelance Editing

I'm curious to know if there's anyone out there who knows of a good place to "put out my shingle" to freelance edit someone's project. I'm concerned about hitting Craigslist - I've already been burned there, but I don't know of any "databases" that are reputable and also don't charge for listing.

Thanks in advance!

You can find people on this site who will do it. But if you want something more 'official', maybe elance.com. ???

elance.com is a site where you can create a listing for yourself, highlighting skills which you can provide to 'clients' along a virtual network. The tough part is that you must bid against other elance listings to gain a client's 'job'. Worth a glance if you're interested in editing from a remote locale.
