Hello,  I'm new to the page.  I have a new fantasy novel I'm working on and would like some feed back...

Summary: In a time of religious unrest and civil war on the island kingdom of Midian, the royal family is forced into hiding by a rebel General and an ambitious High Priest, who lead a criminal army of marked men. As the defeated royals enlist the help of fellow islanders to make a final stand to regain their kingdom, the long forgotten and warring Gods return to wage their own battle for the island and its inhabitants.
In a struggle for power between Gods and men, secrets are revealed, family ties are rediscovered, old alliances are reforged and two worlds collide as a young boy with a mysterious past is thrust to center stage in a battle that will decide the fate of Midian.
