A/N - This was written within a world I created called Morien. I never finished the story, but had a vague idea of the mytharc. I guess what I'm looking for is feedback on the characterisations, because to-date, I've never managed to write likeable original characters.

Hello, new member here (just a greeting for now)...

My name is Jay, I am an aspiring author with a full manuscript which I may post within the next few days depending upon if there will be interest or not. I had a stint in myspace that, well, that was a fruitless endeavor. I don't know about etiquette so I won't bombard you with a pitch of my story but I will say that I am an author who grew up on mythology, comic books, and later Japanese manga. My style has larger-than-life themes heavily grounded into reality and is devoutly character-driven. Needless to say, I specialize in Speculative Fiction.

I'm open to read your stories and share any knowledge I may have, I've already posted a character-crafting study I did not to long ago on another site if you're interested but yeah, I'm usually an approachable guy so if you have any questions leave a comment or message me. More to come but only if I know I'm writing for someone besides myself.
