This is not a story posting, but hopefully a spark for some discussion. It is in reference to a comment Duke Flieg made over on my own journal on the piece from my previous post and while my dilemma comes from a particular character of mine, I think it's a subject worth discussing in general.

What are good ways to differentiate levels of class/education as opposed to intellegence? How do you dumb someone up without seriously dumbing them up, or make someone well-bred yet brainless?

My current dilemma is a very intellegent man with a common upbringing amidst a cast of mostly nobles. I've been writing nobility so heavily lately it's not only starting to come out of his mouth, but my own as well (my two-year-old told me tonight that we 'must' read another story)
