I wrote about this in my myspace blog this morning. Just thought I would write here too. It's not the same post...just starts the same.

Last night I had REALLY BAD insomnia. I didn't sleep a wink. I just layed there tossing and turning. My eyes woudln't stay closed. I was wired.

Finally at about 4 am I got up and sat down infront of the computer. I figured if I was going to be awake I might as well be productive. I wrote about a page or so of my novel and then tried to go back to bed (at 5). I laid there until 6-ish when I got up because I just couldn't sleep.

About that time the kids got up so I got them ready for school, made breakfast, fixed lunch, and helped my son finish his homework. After they were both gone (8:50 am) I sat down to write some more.

For some reason I just wrote. My fingers were flying across the keyboard. I wrote 4 pages in an hour. I didn't know that was possible! lol I finished the first chapter and then tried to get some sleep. I couldn't.

I sat down to write again but my brain had that foggyness that comes with lack of sleep. So I played around on the internet for a bit and then ran some errands. I did manage to get about an hour of sleep before my daughter came home from school.

I'm still wired and I might write some more. I need to sleep but I want to write. I was on such a roll earlier and if I had kept up with it who knows how much more I could've written. But I like to take breathers between chapters so I can get a good idea in my head of what I want to do with the next chapter. I should probably think a bit more before I write. Knowing me though as soon as my head hits the pillow the perfect words will come to mind. Then I have to decide if I'm going to pass out and hope they come back to me tomorrow or get up and write.

*sigh* Sometimes I get a bit obsessed with my work. lol
