About me (basics): I don't know...I'm pretty friendly, I like bright colors...I don't really know what to say here!
Hobbies: Writing, knitting, watching and analyzing movies, hanging out with friends, and I LOVE going to concerts.
Music: I dabble in all sorts of things, though my major vice right now would have to be Ska.
Books: Oh damn, there are SO Many good ones - I LOVE Amy Tan, she's great. John Grisham is fun, anything by Scott Heim is always good and Tumbsucker, by Walter Kirn, is probably my favorite book.
TV: 3rd Rock From the Sun, Arrested Development, Jack & Bobby, 24, etc...
Movies: The Emperor's Club, Mean Creek, Elephant, Brick, Thumbsucker, Were the World Mine, The Ballad of Jack and Rose, Eulogy, Lords of Dogtown and Sunshine. (That's my top ten).

And the suggested 'What do you write?: MOSTLY just chaste romances - puppy love, but I'm breaking into fantasy with my latest story, that's why I joined, because I don't really know what I'm doing because I Don't even READ fantasy normally, let alone write it.

Just a suggestion: if you want to write it, read it. Reading is so very important to the life of a writer. Read, read, read, read, read. You'll learn more from reading than you will from almost anything else.

Yeah, I was planning on doing that - I called my cousin for a list of recs, she's REALLY into fantasy, so I'll see what she gives me. I'm in a small town right now so it'll be a bit unti I get my hands on some, most likely, but we'll see! I'm not at all sure that I'm going to run with my idea.

At the moment I'm mostly into Ska Punk - Streetlight Manifesto are my favorite band - and Ska Core, because I'm just a leeeeeetle bit obsessed with punk music. It's all fantastic, though, because it's all completely and utterly mad!

Wow, that's...;pretty awesome. Streetlight and Big D & the Kid's Table are my two favorite bands. I JUST saw Streetlight Live, and I'm on a MAJOR kick right now! I'm listening to them as I type this, in fact.
