With Painted Words is currently open to submissions of original artwork which will not only be showcased on the site but be used as THE inspiration behind the story/writing submissions.

The deadline for the inaugural submission period - using a piece of artwork by Chris Howard (author of Seaborn and the Saltwater Witch) - is approaching: Sunday 25th October 2009. There is still time to get your piece in and become one of 'With Painted Word's' first accepted writers!

We have also recently become listed on Duotrope.
