Friends... Romans... lend me your ears, and please hear me out.
So I was talking to my mom today about how my classmates and I have to pick out books about angsty teens who have survived the Holocust or are under a dictatorship and I told her my views. I didn't like that (I'm sorry if this seems a little offensive. I'm not trying to be I just don't like reading about things like this). The teachers always tell us to relate. How? That's never happened to me before! Then my mom went on saying that maybe the teachers should give us books on 'street smarts.' Or books on how to deal with bullies, the stock market, taxes, etc. etc. You know things like that.
That sparked something up in my nogin. And here it is: I've known what it's like to be bullied before and trust me it wasn't pretty. But here's my point. I said that I could write a book about being bullied. Me, a person who has actually gone through the experience.
That's when I decided I would. Right now I'm doing my research. But after I've got some done I'd really like your views on how to organize my chapters, because a lot of what happened is a jumbled mess. So please hear me out. I need someone. Anyone to help me out on this. I think it'd be a great book for people who're having trouble with bullies.
Yes I do realize there are already books out there like that. But so far from the research I've done none of the authors have actually gone through a bullying experience, like I have (and I'm not trying to be mean to any of the authors either, I'm just sayin'). I think it'd help a lot of the kids/teens out there who are going through this experience to actually get into the mind of a teenager going through this so-called 'bullying.'
So please, please. Anyone. Maybe more than one. That'd be great! Thanks for listening. Sorry I must've bored you to death and wasted your time.

Date: 2009-11-22 03:16 am (UTC)That's why now I want only a person who is been bullied to crtique me because they'll see the bullying that's happening and help me with my writing.
No offense to other people or the person who critiqued mebut they just don't understand.
