Hey, I am new to live journal and writers loft.  I have just submitted three chapters of my first attempt at  a novel.  It is a ya fiction novel.  If you would be interested please read and let me know what you think.  :]

Interesting... there are characters in my novel called the Royal Watchers. What is it that your 'watchers' do?

They are part human part angels that can control the four elements. the protagonist is also a seer meaning that she can see future events and events that have already happened although she wasn't actually there.
What do yours do?

My royal watchers are based on the cardinal stars which represent the four directions [which I have also tied to the four elements: earth to the north, air to the east, water to the west and fire to the south].

Best of luck as your story unfolds. I'm happy to rough edit if you need some fresh eyes now and again.
PS - are you pagan?

Sounds good and thanks I would love any advice I can get!

And no I'm not pagan I'm an open minded Christian although I don't really like labels. :]
