Hello Community!

I am a writer and an aspiring author. I have been writing fiction since I was about seven years old. I have a two year old little boy which often makes it harder to find time to write. I have decided to try to write my first novel. I don't care if it is pure crap, I know that this is the only way that I will condition myself to finish longer works and to get over my fears. Also, my goal for this is to make writing an everyday habit, so it is my intention to work on this said novel at least a little everyday. I also wanted to ask the community which one of these titles that they like the best. This list is a result of a brainstorming activity.

The Mind's Destiny

Justice of The Psyche

Power of The Mind

Mind Games

Psychic State of Mind

Within The Mind

The Other Senses

Paranormal Justice

Mind Touch

Weapons of The Mind

Mind War

I would also like to say that I could use more friends on livejournal who are also writers. Anyone feel free to add me and send me a message telling me who you are and I will add you back. I think writers can use encouragement and friends along the way, as writing is mostly a solitary endeavor.

Personally, I like Mind Games or Psychic State of Mind. I might even cross out Psychic and just have State of Mind.
Mind me asking what this story is generally going to be about? (:

I really like, "Within the Mind," "The Other Senses," and, "Mind Touch." :)

By the way, I am also a writer. Unfortunately, I am also quite busy, just like yourself. Finding time to squeeze in some writing every day is much easier said than done -- but it's still a goal of mine! I am a college student who's double majoring in Psychology and English, and I also work, so that should give you an idea of how busy I can be! (Although, having a child like yourself, I imagine, is an entirely different story!)

Anyway, I think I'll add you! :) I need some more writing buddies on my friends page. I also have a filter which is dedicates specifically to my writing goals and to my friends here on LiveJournal who are also writers -- would you like to be included? :)

Add you in a minute,

Anna

I was just reading your comment and thought I'd reply. Your Psych/English double major caught my eye, as that is what I had a double major in as well.

I'm a writer too. But as I'm not working at the moment, I have been able to find plenty of time to write. I think I'm going to add you to my friends list. Feel free to do the same, if you like.

Sounds great! I will add you back and include you on my writing filter, since the rest of my journal is fairly un-writing-related...hope you don't mind!? :)

I love meeting other writers that are not my age and that perhaps have more experience in the writing department then myself. I would like to friend you, but I am new to LJ and still trying to figure things out.

For the title, I rather liked Mind Touch and Psychic State of Mind.

I am in the same boat as ya all, and would love to make more connections with like minded people. I would like to befriend all of ya, if that is ok.

About me...I really didn't start to feel my passion for writing until I experienced some very traumatic experiences, about the age of 24. Of course, all of my earlier work was more therapeutic than anything else. Then out of know where I started to write poems, then short stories, and now I am working on my first novel. Big step for me!

Lastly...the titles that caught my eye was Mind Touch and Mind Game, although, I think Mind Game has been used before.
