I thought to best pass the time till my mind works properly, i could write some short stories for a race of people i created in my Creative Writing for GCSE. (is race the right word? it'll do for now.)
They each have an ability to cross into other worlds/dimensions. there are a few i have created myself and there are some that i've plucked from other media.
They all have to use mirrors to do this. When the world is reflected in the mirror (rather than the reflection from the area around the mirror) these people, and anyone holding onto them or their clothes etc, step through into the other world.
There are a few other rules but they're the ity-bity detail ones. Anywho, i'm not sure what to call them. There are enough completely made up names in there anyway. So i was thinking something simple. Here are a few; Mirrorwalkers, Mirrorjumpers, Wanderers, Leapfrogs (I was thinking of having a character calling people this anyway, as a cute little nickname.:D) Any ones think of names that are better?
When i get a few other ideas (if i do) i'll put up a poll with them all on; the people that might read it can decide which is best :) if anyone ever actually does... :/

I think Mirrorwalkers sounds the best. Wanderers seems too vague, and leapfrogs and mirrorjumpers both sound rather novel. If it's a relatively amusing or absurd story they'll be fine, but I think something like "leapfrogs" might ruin a serious story. Though it makes a ridiculously cute name.

You might want to consider not having anything to do with "mirror" in the title. Dead giveaway - reduces from the surprise element.
