Do You Show your Stuff or Not?

Do you show anyone your writing while you're working on it or do you wait until you've finished? Do you share immediately upon finishing or do you wait until you've been able to give it a second going over or final polish?

Hi, This is the start to a first novel for me, i have so much i need to put into this, and i know exactly where i want it to go, the only problem for me is that i think i might lack the ability to write it to make it sound interesting enough for people to read. So i was hoping that you guys could help me out in my writing abilities, tell me what you like, and tell me what you dont about it.

In later chapters this will contain sexual scenes between 2 men. well, 3, but not at the same time lol. Warnings will be on those chapters so dont worry if you dont like reading that kinda stuff.
