Does anyone have any advice as to how to find an agent for a fantasy novel? (any and all suggestions would be much appreciated).

Write a good query letter. Send it to agents who rep fantasy.

Yep, that simple.

You can findthem at agentquery.com, or querytracker.net, or just about a thousand other great sites.

Yep, and good luck! :-). There's no secret weapon, except a well written query and book. Pretty much everyone I know who is agented got their agenst the old fashioned way. Start with around 12 queries to test the water...they can sometimes take a long time to get back to you.

You can also look at the author's acknowledgments in fantasy novels you admire. 9 times out of 10, they'll mention their agent.

Take a look at the links that can be found here (http://community.livejournal.com/start_writing/tag/agents).

Hope you find something useful. :)
