What is the coolest thing about your current WIP?
I think the coolest thing for me is the slow reveal of character facets I never expected (I'm supposed to know these characters, right?) and the plot bunnies that fall into place and snap other pieces of the story together suddenly.
What is the hardest?
Number one tough thing right now is RL and a lack of time and the mental energy necessary for creative things.
Are you going to participate in NaNo this year?
Nope, I write too slowly.

Date: 2008-10-12 10:16 am (UTC)Several things. Mostly a work I call the Rewrite o' d00m. But, I also have another high fantasy that is almost through the initial 'put the story down' phase.
What is the coolest thing about your current WIP?
The Rewrite lets me speak Medical Geekese in context with dragons. Seriously does not get much better than that.
What is the hardest?
Condensing almost 322k words into something... less.
Are you going to participate in NaNo this year?
Going to use it as impetus to work on the Rewrite. No original work for me this year. It just... wouldn't work. And then I'd have another WIP on my hard drive. Nominally not a problem, but still. I'm trying to get things done, not start anew.

I love how exciting my character's lives are. I wish it were me.
What is the hardest?
Sometimes I trip over my own writing style; but after I get the full first draft complete, I'll go back and work on style.

I'm not sure what the NaNo is...I've heard it mentioned but no details about what and how to participate.

What is the coolest thing about your current WIP?
I love the main characters, they are very interesting to me.
What is the hardest?
The plot for sure. Figuring out the details of the attempted assassination and making sure it works without being too simple.
Are you going to participate in NaNo this year?
Yes, but I'm a little fuzzy on the details. I have 2 story options and I can't decide which to write yet.

A fic I've been writing forever. Its a high fantasy/civil war fic. (Website (http://chocolate-radiance.thowra.net)) Its gonna get a namechange, LOL.

Erm... That I love it and it keeps me occupied LOL.
What is the hardest?
I am pretty bad at taking crit and often take it personally even though I want to improve my writing, so its hard to get better.
