Hi guys! I was really glad to find this community. I've been searching around, looking for a place where people were serious about writing, but writing is not their only job--it is hard keeping up with full time writers when you have another full time job. I write Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance mostly. But every now and then, I follow my muse to a darker and/or erotic side.

I hope to be able to contribute to the community and to find help with my own work as well. I must admit that I'm a bit paranoid about posting things on line, so I would love to find a writing buddy--someone interested in e-mail exchanges of complete chapters and short stories, in order to get feedback.

I think that's enough for now :) See you around.

Magaly

Hi Magaly,

I don't post a lot of my work online either, so I understand where you're coming from.

What kind of person are you looking for to exchange work with?

Hi Magaly,

I'm very interested in finding another serious writer to share feedback with. I work full time, am a single mom, and write, too, so I definitely understand time constraints. :)

I'm not good at poetry either. I write a few short stories, but mostly I work on novels and screenplays. More novels than screenplays. I write lots. I have a number of novels finished and decided it was finally time to edit and submit, and still, I keep writing, LOL.

Currently, I'm working on urban fantasy and...well, some folks say maybe it fits into urban fantasy, too, but I'm not sure. It's real world with magic, but no vampires or werewolves or fairy creatures involved.

And, that's me, in a nutshell. I know you said you write urban fantasy, too?

Hi Magaly! I write paranomral romance too. I'm working on my second novel. I'm a stay at home mom but I don't always have time/energy to write. I would love to do it full time but life becons.

Anyways, if you want I would be happy to exchange chapters. I could always use crit on my novels and I wouldn't mind returning the favor. I'm still trying to get an agent for my first one. The second one is the sequel.

If you want send me an e-mail. jaguar667 @ yahoo . com

*hugs*

Thanks Magaly. It's always refreshing when someone doesn't look down on the mentally ill. : D I actually do a talk with psychology students at the college near my home about it. So they can see that there are people with severe (my bipolar is classified as severe) mental illnesses can be "normal" people too. lol I've been tinkering with the thought of writing a book on it. Basically mental illness from the prospective of someone who has it type of thing.

Anyways, I'll keep an eye out for your e-mails. I just logged on and I have a lot so it might take a few mi.

BTW...which website do you love? I have a few. lol
