Hello all. I just joined. Two minutes ago. Anyway, I thought I'd introduce myself and say hi. Copying the general questionnaire...

Name: Let's keep going with Dannie. You wouldn't be able to pronounce my real name anyway.
Age: 22
Date of Birth: September 4th
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Location: Aalborg, Denmark
Occupation: Student
Hair: Dark brown, shortish, wavy
Eyes: Blue
Ethnicity: Danish. Scandinavian. Viking descendant. However you want to put it.
Language: Danish and English and then a string of one's I only half-know.
Marital Status: Single
Looking for: Long walks on the beach and... Oh, that was not what it was about. Well, I'm looking for other writers to be social with. Some good discussions. Friends. Maybe a critique here or there.
Tattoos/Piercings: Lip ring. Stretched earlobes (nothing bad, just 8mm) and about ten other holes in my ears.
Religion: Christian
Do you want LJ friends? Sure
Do you want Snail mail pen-pals? I'd rather not pay for the postage.
About me (basics): I always hate this one! So difficult... I live in a cosy, half-old house in Aalborg with four other girls my age. I recently finished my first novel and am querying about at the moment. I like music. Uhm, I should so be in bed by now. It's nearly four in the am.
Hobbies: Writing - obviously. Reading. Music (playing/listening/writing). Friends and family. And then a new one tends to pop up every month and disappear again just as quickly.
Music: My biggest weakness must be Finnish rock. Most notably Nightwish, The Rasmus and HIM.
Books: At the moment I'm reading Karen Miller, and loving it. I'm not that good (embarrassingly/hypocritically) at remembering authors, but I do know that my undying favourite must still be David Eddings.
TV: Whatever's on when I feel like watching. So mostly, trash.
Movies: Star Wars is my favourite and has been for ten years, especially the old trilogy. Loved Stargate (hated SG-1). The Island. School of Rock (what? It's hilarious!). A bunch of others that are escaping me right now.

And the suggested 'What do you write?: Epic/high fantasy, mainly, but lately I've been dabbling in some urban too.

And I guess that's it. I really should be going to bed about now, but well, I'm looking forward to talking to you guys, reading some stuff and maybe showing you some as well. Later!

And the suggested 'What do you write?: MOSTLY just chaste romances - puppy love, but I'm breaking into fantasy with my latest story, that's why I joined, because I don't really know what I'm doing because I Don't even READ fantasy normally, let alone write it.

Title: Saith
Characters: Vieri De Luca, Noah Anderson, Nikolai Dalhem, Ruaridh Strachan, Trahern Cadell, Blaize Laroque, and Kieran Croft.
Chapter: 1/?
Rating: M
Warnings: Contains adult themes, violence, etc.
Summary: An old Welsh legend becomes real for seven boys who, at the age of seventeen, begin to realize that they are not like the other people surrounding them. On their shared eighteenth birthday, each boy leaves home in an attempt to fulfill his destiny, to find the other six pieces of the puzzle. But with a group of self-serving cultists trying to harness the boys' power hot on their trail, as well as a task force whose sole mission is to find and dispose of the boys before they can discover their true power, the seven young men find themselves getting far more than they had ever bargained for.
Author's Note: Alright, so not only is this the first chapter of a story, but my first REAL attempt to write fantasy. I am posting this now as a test - mainly to get feedback and insight as to whether or not I should continue.
